US State Law

The personal information that Millboard Inc collects fall under the data protection laws in place under US state law. Specifically, California (CCPA), Colorado (CPA) and Connecticut (CTDPA), Virginia (VCDPA) and Utah (UCPA) have data protection laws in place which provide a number of specific rights to its residents. Generally, businesses cannot discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA, the CPA, CTPDA, VTDPA or UCPA. Businesses cannot make you waive these rights, and any contract provision that says you waive these rights is unenforceable.

Millboard may use de-identified data in some instances. Millboard either maintains such data without attempting to re-identify it or treats such data as personal data subject to applicable law.

Millboard does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose not expressly permitted by US state laws.

 

California

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA with respect to your personal information:

  • Right to know: the right to be informed about what data we collect, the purposes for processing your data, how long we will keep it, and with whom it will be shared. The Millboard Privacy Policy has been designed to meet that right.
     
  • Right of access: You can request that a business disclose to you: (1) the categories and/or specific pieces of personal information they have collected about you, (2) the categories of sources for that personal information, (3) the purposes for which the business uses that information, (4) the categories of third parties with whom the business discloses the information, and (5) the categories of information that the business sells or discloses to third parties. You can make a request to know up to twice a year, free of charge.
     
  • Right to delete: You can request that businesses delete personal information they collected from you and tell their service providers to do the same, subject to certain exceptions (such as if the business is legally required to keep the information).
     
  • Right to opt-out of sale or sharing: You may request that we stop selling or sharing your personal information (“opt-out”), including via a user-enabled global privacy control. We may sell or share your personal information after we receive your opt-out request unless you later authorize us to do so again.
     
  • Right to correct: You may ask businesses to correct inaccurate information that they have about you.
     
  • Right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information: You can direct businesses to only use your sensitive personal information (for example, your financial account information, your precise geolocation data) for limited purposes, such as providing you with the services you requested.

 

Colorado

If you are a Colorado resident, you have the following rights under the CPA with respect to your personal information:

  • Right to know: the right to be informed about what data we collect, the purposes for processing your data, how long we will keep it, and with whom it will be shared. The Millboard Privacy Policy has been designed to meet that right.
     
  • Right to access: You have the right to know the specific personal data (including profiling decisions, inferences, derivative data, marketing profiles) we have collected and process about you, including that provided to our data processors by us.
     
  • Right to correct: You may ask businesses to correct inaccurate information that they have about you.
     
  • Right to delete: You can request that we delete personal information we collected from you and tell our service providers to do the same, subject to certain exceptions (such as if the business is legally required to keep the information).
     
  • Right to opt out: You may choose to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of your personal data, including via a user-enabled global privacy control. You may opt out of profiling for the purposes of making automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
     
  • Right to Portability: You can request that your personal data, is made available to you in an easily accessible and transportable format.


Millboard does not engage in profiling of consumers in furtherance of automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, as those terms are defined under the Colorado Privacy Act.

 

Connecticut

If you are a Connecticut resident, you have the following rights under the CTDPA with respect to your personal information:

  • Right to know: you have the right to be informed about what data we collect, the purposes for processing your data, how long we will keep it, and with whom it will be shared. The Millboard Privacy Policy has been designed to meet that right.
     
  • Right to access: you have the right to confirmation of whether or not we are processing your Personal Data and to access such data, except where providing the confirmation or access would require us to reveal a trade secret
     
  • Right to correct: You may ask us to correct inaccurate information that we have about you.
     
  • Right to delete: You can request that we delete personal information we collected from you and tell our service providers to do the same, subject to certain exceptions (such as if the business is legally required to keep the information).
     
  • Right to opt out: You may choose to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of your personal data, including via a user-enabled global privacy control. You may opt out of profiling for the purposes of making automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects
     
  • Right to portability: You can request that your personal data, if processed by automated means, is made available to you in an easily accessible and transportable format

 

 

Virginia


If you are a Virginia resident, you have the following rights under the VCDPA with respect to your personal information:

 

  • Right to know: you have the right to be informed about what data we collect, the purposes for processing your data, how long we will keep it, and with whom it will be shared. The Millboard Privacy Policy has been designed to meet that right.
     
  • Right of access: You have the right to know whether or not we are processing your personal data, and to access such data.
     
  • Right to correct: You may ask us to correct inaccurate information that we have about you.
     
  • Right to delete: You can request that we delete personal information we collected from you and tell our service providers to do the same, subject to certain exceptions (such as if the business is legally required to keep the information).
     
  • Right to opt out: You may choose to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of your personal data, and profiling for the purposes of making automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects
     
  • Right to portability: You can request that your personal data, where you provided the data directly to us, is made available to you in an easily accessible and transportable format

 

Utah

If you are a Utah resident, from 31st December, 2023, you will have the following rights under the UCPA with respect to your personal information:

  • Right to know: You have the right to be informed about what data we collect, the purposes for processing your data, how long we will keep it, and with whom it will be shared. The Millboard Privacy Policy has been designed to meet that right.
     
  • Right to access: You have the right to know whether or not we are processing your personal data, and to access such data.
     
  • Right to correct: You may ask us to correct inaccurate information that we have about you.
     
  • Right to delete: You can request that we delete personal information we collected from you and tell our service providers to do the same, subject to certain exceptions (such as if the business is legally required to keep the information).
