Decking

In a residential setting, in the UK, Millboard Decking products should not be used for balconies or roof terraces (or cladding), where the total building height is above 11m.

This may not necessarily apply in a commercial environment, please ensure that the appropriate professional advice is obtained, prior to the start of any project.

Millboard decking has been tested to BS EN 13501-1 previously and we are undergoing recertification in 2025.

If you plan to use Millboard products for internal applications, please ensure that you speak with one of our technical representatives so that we can understand the nature of project and advise accordingly.

Please note: When the decking boards are used in a cladding application, the suitability of the product for this use is to be determined by a certified building professional (building control, building insurance, fire officer, etc).

Millboard will not be held responsible for incorrect specification, application, or product installation in areas not in accordance with government guidance, in the UK or abroad.

Guidance should be gained from the government website relating to the geographical project location.

Envello Cladding

Our Shadow Line+ and Board & Batten+ cladding boards have been tested to BS EN 13501-1 and have a classification of D-s3, d0 when fitted in accordance with our install guide.

Envello cladding is extremely versatile and can be used for most low-level cladding areas (subject to building control). It can be used for cladding on low-level residential and commercial buildings, garden rooms, home offices, furniture, soffits and fascia, outdoor kitchens and more. Envello cladding can be used as the decorative face for most outdoor designs, as long as it is fixed to a structural element.

All areas subject to the relevant government regulations/building standards.

The responsibility for the cladding’s suitability in the required location is to be determined by a certified building professional (building control, building insurance, fire officer, etc). Millboard will not be held responsible for incorrect specification, application, or product installation in areas not in accordance with government guidance, in the UK or abroad. Current guidance should be gained from the government website relating to the geographical project location.
