Pedestals
Installing decking on an area such as a roof garden or a balcony can seem a little complicated but with our pedestals you will be enjoying your new area in no time at all. Designed to allow breathability, the pedestals can actually prevent rotting in the joists and therefore result in your decking staying in good condition for far longer.
We have a number of options when it comes to our pedestals so you can choose the one that is perfect for your needs. For instance, we supply both adjustable pedestals as well as our brand new range of self-levelling ‘floating head’ pedestals. Available in a range of sizes, you can create space underneath your decking in which wires and utilities can be laid if necessary.
Plas-Pro Sub Frame System
This sub-flooring system is a great alternative to timber as if you are laying a composite decking, have a timber system underneath would defeat the object of being long lasting. There are many problems that occur with timber sub-flooring systems and many of these come from water damage. Rotting is extremely common with timber and with this alternative system you will eliminate the risk. Being produced from 100% recycled plastic means that it is environmentally friendly and will not split or crack. As a result, it is well-suited to areas around water or that are notoriously damp.
